Co-workers!!!

So things are really slow at the end of the month plus DS and DH are both home sick today so I figured I would leave early and surprise them.  I told my co-worker I was planning on leaving early and she agreed that I should go home and check on them then, she  leaves for lunch and never comes back and calls our boss to tell her she is going to take the rest of the day off!!!  I would not be upset if I hadn't told her what I was planning.  So now I'm stuck her at work doing her job!  Sorry I'm really upset, and I should add that when I leave early no one has to step in and pick up the slack.

Wow.  I think i'd actually say something to her.  "So- what happened Friday?  I had mentioned wanting to leave early, you agreed, then the next thing I know, you took off early - forcing me to stay the rest of the day.  What happened?  If you didn't want me to leave, why didn't you talk to me about it?".

Seriously.  She's being passive-agressive about something and I would absoltely call her out on it. You don't have to be mean.  Just ask her matter of factly about it.

I agree with this. And I would never ever tell her my plans again. Maybe she's jealous of your relationship with your DH and LO.
