    the fact that there are that many choices should alone convince you not to pick that name.  It's totally overused and most of the spellings are awful.

    I like Makayla. People will mispronounce Michaela. Even if it is the traditional spelling, Makayla is the more popular spelling. Just an FYI: Makayla is ranked #37 and Michaela is ranked #357 on SSA. Go with Makayla.
