OMG freaking out!! (not PAL related)

My day just went from great to horrible!  I had an interview for a new job that I feel completely confident I'll get.  Then DH just calls and says that there is a new budget for the governor to sign but she is refusing to sign it.  If she doesn't sign it by July 1st, all of our State Troopers will be pulled of the road and not paid. WTF are we going to do???  All I can hope for is that this lady has enough sense to sign it.  She is toying with so many peoples lves right now. 

I'm so scared.  I'm angry, sad, scared...everything...I just don't know what to do...
