After Laura and Tricia's news, I was thinking well maybe we could have gotten really lucky too. Of course, I knew I was being foolish, but still entertaining the idea of testing...even though there was no chance timing wise for when I thought I was O'ing. Being in different cities makes our situation even more impossible. But there was still that hope that I've not had in a long time. Instead AF started today after only two days of the lightest spotting ever! Granted, I'm thankful so I stopped having these thoughts! 

In related news, we're meeting with an adoption lawyer on Monday! We probably won't be beginning the adoption process any time soon since we'll be moving soon, but we're looking forward to learning more.

    Jill, I'm sorry for the disappointment :(

    Have you found an adoption lawyer in Germany, then, or did I totally miss something and you're in the States for the near future?

    Hey Krista! How are you doing?

    Thank! I'm not really disappointed, I know it's not possible. And it was silly I was even entertaining the idea!

    The adoption lawyer is in Lafayette. FIL arranged the meeting for us. I believe she does traditional adoptions and law relating to ART, I'm hoping she knowledgeable about both donor sperm and donor embryo. It's more to get information about what the process is for going through a lawyer versus and adoption agency. We're still not sure what route we'll take to parenthood. Right now with the upcoming move, I'm really at peace with not knowing and feeling less of an urge to become a parent as soon as I had been. We're still in the States. Our move date is August 6th...how crazy!! It's getting so close!

    Gotchya on the explanation.  I'll cross my fingers that it makes things clearer for you guys..but I can't believe how close you are to moving!  I'm so envious of all the fab chocolate you'll have at hand soon!
