July MNO reminder...it's getting closer!!!

I hope I'm not annoying with these posts, but I think I should probably post reminders/open invitations every few days or maybe just once a week. 

Mom's Night Out for Cocktails, Appetizers and Fun!

Details:

Date:  Friday, July 10

Arrival Time: 6:15 - 6:30 (you're more than welcome to arrive earlier)

Appetizers Served: 7:00-7:45

Ending time: stay as long as you want

Place: I'll PM you the location - just ask(don't want to post my place of employment on this forum, I hope everyone will respect that.)

Room: Barside Dining Room will be blocked for this event.  There will be plenty of standing room as well as tables/chairs. Please place orders through the waitstaff (as opposed to the bartenders) in order to keep it as organized as possible.  The bar itself will be open to other patrons and smoking is allowed - in case anyone is allergic to smoke.

More info: 

Complimentary buffet-style served appetizers that will include most of our regular menu appetizers (probably not scallops, because they don't "hold well" for long periods of time - but everything else). Also some non-menu appetizers. And our signature salad upon request.

All of our regular drinks will be available at regular prices as well as a "special" martini list ($5 martinis) as well as a "special" wine list ($5-$6 dollar glasses)

Cost per person is based upon consumption for everything else (entrees, sides, etc) as well as gratuity.

Gratuity usually a touchy subject, but I'm definitely going to bring it up because I actually DO care about my staff.  Please take care of them.  They are not only my employees, but many are like family to me as we've worked together for years.

Working on small gift bags for each person and "door prizes".

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask....I may have left out details.

DH called me a little while ago with his schedule for that week. He told me that he was scheduled for 2-11pm on the 10th. I "expressed my displeasure" and he is now off that Friday

If I can get DH to pick up DS that night, I'll DD for a couple of Frisco area girls since I can't drink at work.   It'll be a tight squeeze, but I can fit 3 passengers (small 2-door civic).  (but you'd have to get dropped off at the restaurant because I go in at 2:45 in the afternoon)

If anyone's interested, I'll check with DH.

I keep checking this post every week hoping the date will change, but it doesn't. . I really wish I could make it, but we have to go and see my mom. Bummer. We will be in Wyoming and thinking of you guys! Have fun.

I'm totally bummed!  I really wanted to come : (  That just happens to be the weekend that I'm going camping.  Yes, that's what I said... 5 months pregnant and camping. LOL!  This should be interesting! : )
