So we are pretty sure we want the name Wyatt for our son.   We would like the middle name to be after my Grandfather  Richard Edwin.  I would like to use Edwin as the first name but DH is worried people will call him ED , but I am leaning towards it for the middle name because its a bit different.

What do you think sounds better..

Wyatt Richard  T  or Wyatt Edwin T

If I had my way Id name him Edwin Bond (DH's middle name) T .

Not sure what your last  name would sound like with it, but I am leaning more toward Wyatt Edwin.

I think either one sounds fine - but I think your DH is right.  If you name him Edwin, people would call him Ed.  I think if I had to choose, I'd go with Wyatt Edwin.

I think Wyatt Edwin.  I like Edwin Bond, but he will almost certainly be called Ed. I like Wyatt Bond even better, but I understand you want to honor your granfather. It is nice to name him after the baby's father too though.

For the most part ppl (outside family) aren't going to know his middle name. Wyatt Edwin is nice!!!

I love the name Edwin, but HATE Ed, which is why I had to eliminate this name from my list.

IMO though I like Wyatt Edwin best.

Thanks for your opinions!!!!  Its probably going to be Wyatt Edwin, thats Dh's favorite too!!
