Is there such a thing as taking too much progesterone?

My RE had me on 100mg twice a day and I accidentally took 3 yesterday... now I'm wondering if I should take 3 again so the levels don't drop?

I notice people have different doses so I was wondering if it's bad to take too much.

I take 1cc of pio plus 200 mg suppositories THREE times a day. You'll be fine.

I think you're just fine having taken the 3.  However, I would not continue to take the 3 unless you talk to your DR first.  If it were me I'd just go down to the 2 and continue on.  Good luck!

I took 3 per day but that what was perscribed to me!

My OB explained it like you're filling a glass of water.  Once you reach the max, it just spills over the sides.  You can't take too much.

ditto - you can't take too much.  it won't do anything harmful to you!
