  • I was looking into the bodyglove one, but this is a good option too. DS LOVES to be carried, and DD#2 is my RUNNER - so I need 2 free hands! LOL!

    Thanks!

  • I was thinking about just trying my regular pocket sling.  I hardly use it anymore since the baby prefers my chicco carrier so I thought maybe the sling would work for the pool.  It doesn't seem like it would hold so much water that it would be uncomfortable.  I just hate spending anymore money on baby stuff.  Especially since we're not having anymore.
  • ****Shell glances longingly at this product WISHING her youngest was still in the "carrier" phase ****

I almost got one of these last summer.

    ?

Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.
  • why not bring a grandparent, friend, or sitter. seems easier and probably safer too...right???

I can't expect my friends with small children to drop what they are doing to come to the pool with me every afternoon. How many people who do not have kids want to entertain mine after a long day of work? The girls have one grandparent who works full time, the other one is out of town and I do not have extra cash to pay someone to play with my kids at the pool which is my job.

How are they unsafe with me? Seriously? The part of the pool we play in is max 2.5 feet deep.

Not very well thought out. In theory it is a great idea. In reality not at all.

Do you really have someone available to you to help take your kids to the pool? If yes, I am jealous.

  • wow, just saw this response.  didn't mean to offend.  my kids are exactly the same spacing apart as yours are and i couldn't imagine being responsible for both in the water by myself (with the exception of bathtime...LOL).

anyway, yes, I am very fortunate to have 4 grandparents and lots of willing and able friends (with and without kids) to help me out.  i don't work so maybe that makes it easier too.  again, sorry, did not intend to offend.
