b.o.t.b.= is anyone else worried that they will freak someone out on that board if they read your siggy? i feel like going on there i'll be the debbie downer... or cause some poor ku girl to sh*t herself...

let alone the name board... or the getting pregnant board

Not so much worried about freaking anyone out as I am worried about getting flamed if I post on there or on GP...that's just me though...

why do they really care though... it's not like these boards belong to people... that is really irritating to me. i like the people here... very understanding.

and i just don't want to put the thought into some poor womans head...

This.  They really are not nice.  I posted on TTC 12 mo + and wow... it was not pleasant and I felt everyone was just so bitter just based on the comments I got for a simple question....

i completely understand this concern. very rarely i will post on those boards, and i feel like no one wants to pay too much attention to me because i don't really belong there. maybe i don't put enough "effort" into posting on those boards, but a part of me feels like i don't really belong there, too.

A lot of the women on BOTB have had m/c's, or suffer IF.  They just dont list it in their siggys.  A majority of them have gone through it- thats why they are regulars on that board, because they've been at it so long.  They are a little snarky, but only if you are rude to them first.  They may be a little sarcastic if you ask a "dumb" question, but most of the boards are like that.

If you want to post on any of the boards, post.  If you have something to add, then add it.

This is pretty much what I've found on BOTB and all the other boards, actually. I've never been flamed for posting anywhere.

It wasn't a dumb question.  It was a question about books other than TCOYF that would be good to read.   I had even posted the same question here and people here where very nice about it.  They where just rude about it without cause.  I have seen similar actions on BOTB as I lurk there.  It seems to me that they like to pick on newbies...
