It's kind of looking like level IV is a NICU where sick babies get transferred from other facilities...in which St.V's and Riley would both be included.
Do you know if St. V's does ECMO and open heart type stuff? I know Riley does.
I figured they did since they have a neonatal/pediatric critical care transport truck like Riley does.
I have no idea what the difference between IIId and IV is then, if St. V's is designated as IIId.
I know that with trauma centers, there are some very "fine print" differences between some Level IIs and Level Is. (Level I is the highest designation in the trauma world, so they're the opposite of NICU levels.)
For example, Parkview in Fort Wayne is a Level II...but they have helicopters bring patients in, and they take trauma just like a Level I would.
Re: Lemen
hm that's what I found too!
So there is no level 4? Someone referred to St. V. Women's as level 4, but it looks like a 3d.
I found this too:

Yeah, weird!
Cause the nurses told us level4, but then the website says level 3d..maybe it's just an insignificant or terminology difference? haha no idea
