I promised you an update on my 2nd opinion RE appt months ago, which I finally had yesterday (had to cancel it a couple of times prior to that).  Anyway, my original RE is at the same practice that you go to and the 2nd opinion is affiliated with Stanford.  She was great!  Very proactive and ordered bloodwork for me before I even met with her, which meant I didn't have to waste a cycle.  In the end though, her recommendations were pretty much the same as the original RE. The difference was that she took my issues much more seriously and recommended different protocols, whereas I had to ask for bloodwork and suggest protocols with my original RE, who pretty much downplayed both the bloodwork and the protocols.  

Just wanted to give you the update.

Thanks for the update. My RE is very conveniently located so I will try a couple more cycles with him. If I still feel like he is downplaying me I will look into Stanford!
