Indiana Babies

**Jac**

I thought you could relate and I'm super emotional about it, so I need a shoulder to lean on, but I just sold my first DSLR.  :(  I'm getting a 30d next week, but I am so freaking emotional about selling my XT.  I was wanting it to sell, but when I actually saw someone bought it, I almost started crying.  I just have taken so many pictures of Rose with it since she was born and it was a great outlet to be creative when I was at home and bored.  Ugh.  I'm excited about the 30d, though, but will seriously miss the hell out of my XT. :(

Re: **Jac**

  • Awww, I'm sure that's tough!

You're right, so many memories are tied to and captured on the camera. I'm sure it's hard to just sell it and move on. Especially with you, having taken so many pictures of Rose.

Just think of all the memories you're going to capture on the new camera! It's still tough but you have a lot to look forward to Smile

I'm looking at a D300 but will keep my D40x as a spare/emergency camera. This is a few months down the road but it'd definitely in the plans. It'll be sad not to use the D40x anymore!

  • Yeah, I wish, wish, wish I could afford a 30d without selling my Rebel, but I can't.  :(  Boo!

    Poop!

The D40x works great and I'll continue shooting with it till I earn enough through my business to upgrade. I'm not in any rush or anything, so it'll do for now Smile

  • Yeah, with the Rebel XT, it's great, but it's time for an upgrade.  Loved it while I had it and it was great to learn on, but I need a better camera to keep going with everything.
