need clomid advice

Hi ladies!  I will starting on clomid with my next cycle and was wondering what side effects all of you have gotten with this?   My dr. has taken it and she said it made her moody, but nothing else.  She mentioned hot flashes and possible nausea too.  Also, I usually take Midol or Tylenol for cramps during AF so I can continue to do this?   Forgot to ask dr. about that today. 

Another question I have is that I wondered if it was ok to have a drink or two while on clomid?  Has anyone done this?  Normally,  I don't drink during the ovulation period or until I get AF again, but since clomid is taken before ovulation I wondered if there was any interaction.   Thanks!!

I just finished a cycle on Clomid. I had no symptoms at all. That said, everyone is different.

I had a couple of glasses of wine. GL!

I just started my first cycle of Clomid (I have taken it 3 days so far) and have not had any side effects yet. ?

I got the hot flashes...but not until my second round...I took it at night so I have no idea about the nausea...I drank too...that's about it for me

I was on a really low dose and had no side effects.  I took it in the evening before bed.  I only drink at weddings or special occasions so I can't answer you on that question.

I have taken 6 rounds of clomid so far. The side effects I got were night sweats and hot flashes. 

Drinking alcohol while on clomid won't affect it...so drink up!

I had a few hot flashes the first time I took it, but then they went away.

  I was VERY weepy during clomid use..... and a littl nauseate... symptoms end immediatly after last day for me.   Doc told me tylenol but no nsids.

I only took one round of 50 mg. I had no SE while taking it but had hot flashes for about a week to ten days after.  I also had 1 or 2 really bad headaches.  Out of the 5 days that I took the pills, I drank (rather heavily) 2 of them.  It worked though!  Good luck.
