I checked our Kroger ad online after your post earlier & I didn't see $10/10 steamfresh.  I went to Kroger tonight anyways, hoping they just didn't advertise.  Steamfresh wasn't $10/10 (but they were still on sale so I bought a few ).

Out of curiosity, do they have Steamfresh advertised as $10/10 in the weekly ad for your zip code?

Okay, so I don't even know what steamfresh is.  Are they just frozen veggies??

They are frozen veggies but they come in a steamer bag ... so all you have to do it take it out of the freezer & microwave it for 4-5 min to steam.  It's easy, yeah, but they are really good.  The veggies taste really fresh ... Michael likes Steamfresh corn better than fresh corn his parents picked in Wisconsin growing up. 

 They have all sorts of veggies, plus rice (and rice+veggies) ... and now they have "meals for two." We've tried those and while they're fairly pricey, they're pretty delish.

sounds delish!  normally we just buy straight up frozen veggies, and often they are kind of gross. Just not the same!

Try the steamfresh!  You'll never know they weren't fresh produce!

lol well kroger sales end on Wednesday for the week and start new on Thursday.

ugh darn! I thought they were like most stores (end Sat, start Sun). 

Well I guess that saves us the predicament of melting frozen veggies all weekend long ... and the explanations to friends ("...we're cheap..")

At mine only some were on sale--brown rice, white rice, plain veggies like corn and broccoli.  The southwestern rice, veggie blends, etc weren't part of the sale.
