How much should I give a 5 month old? Eli is a little dehydrated from being sick and refusing to nurse. His doc recommended we give him some but I don't remember her saying how much. Any ideas?
When Evan was that age (or about 6 months old), we were told to offer 1oz per hour. This was after he had vomited large amounts at night. We only ended up giving 2 ounces over 2 hours...then he fell asleep for the night.
Do you have pumped breastmilk available? I read on kellymom.com that breastmilk is better than pedialyte. I wish I would have known that at the time.
TTC #2 since 9/09 --- mild PCOS; Endometriosis
IUI x4 = BFN
IVF = sometime in 2012
