wwyd? I need help

Ok so my re said that he'd give me 2 more months of clomid if i want to continue with it...and that I can do it unmontiored.  IF i do this .....and it DOESN'T work..i have to take a 3-4 month break and after that will resume but it'll have to be monitored.  He's concerned I may have built a tolerance and my p4 hasn't been that high on it (last was 13) and he'd like to have me do hcg trigger to boost p4 (but in order for that it has to be monitored).  I can't afford monitored cycles right now as I have to pay all my d+c bills before he'll see me again..besides the fact its about 400 a month to do a monitored cycle and with dh pay cut we just can't afford.  Should i take a month or two break in hopes my body unadjusts to the clomid...or continue with these 2 cycles.....hope it works....and if not then take a 3-4 month break? WWYD?!

If I understand correctly, you have the option of taking a 2 month break or a 3-4 month break. As bad as it stinks to have to break at all, I would rather take the shorter one. You can still TTC while you aren't on Clomid, and maybe your body will regulate itself? I can't stand the thought of taking a 4 month break. That just seems like a really long time.

What does your DH say?

Is there a downside to your body continuing the clomid for 2 more months? I see the tolerance thing, but would it hurt? If there isn't potential harm, I say keep doing it two months, because then you have that time and the break time to save up for the monitored cycles. Good luck! I hope you don't need to go there!

havn't talked to dh yet..just found out....no....not exactly correct...we can take the clmoid unmonitored for 2 months and risk having built up a tolerance or take a break until we can afford to do it monitored.  If i do it for 2 months unmonitored...then i will have to take a 3-4 month break before continuing with any treatments and will have to be monitored at that time

do you O on your own? what's going on with DHs sperm? has he had another s/a?

I do not o on my own....if i do its super late i was having 50 + day cycles before the metformin and clomid...dh had 0% normal morphology, had no more sa and hasn't seen a urologist as he was laid off and has no insurance and we're in debt to drs already....although we have got pg 2x so i wonder if the criteria is just too strict ya know?
