Has anyone been there recently? We have season passes and just noticed that you can rent a cabana (for up to 6 people) for the day near Count's Splash Castle. Since we purchased the season tickets this time last year we have been going consistantly so I wouldn't mind putting out the $130 for the day if it was worth it.

It looks like you get 6 towels, 6 bottles of water, a couch and 2 chairs, a mini fridge and the cabana has a ceiling fan.

Just curious if anyone has rented one?

We were there last month.  We didn't rent one, but we saw them.  I think it would be good for people who maybe have kids old enough to play in the castle or something by themselves while mom/dad hang out in the cabana.  Or maybe so one parent could stay there in the shade with an infant, while the other does stuff with the older kid.

Other than that, I really didn't think it was that big of a deal.  For us, I know we wouldn't have used it enough to make it worth it.

I was thinking the same thing -- I could stay in there with the baby while DH and DD ran around the park. I like having the option to sit in the shade if I want. It's so tough to get a place to sit w/an umbrella close to the castle.
