Cereal for how long?

How long did you do cereal for when you started?  Pedi's nurse practitioner said 7 days, but I'm not sure if I need to do it for that long.  I did not want our appointment with her, but she just showed up.  I have a call in to the pedi but am wondering what you all did?

We did it for about 3 weeks.  But the pedi just said a week.
