My maternity leave is going to be in Dec, Jan and Feb. I am getting a little bit anxious about it landing on the dead of winter. Has anyone been off in these months before or have some ideas of what to do with a newborn during this time so I don't get cabin fever? Ohhhh lovely Minnesota winters....:)
Re: Maternity leave in the winter
Congrats! This is my first pregnancy and I am due in August but I was thinking of stuff to do in the winter and you can always walk around the different malls. That is something to get you moving and get out of the house.
Just curious...but did you go to Hopkins High School? If so I think we graduated together. If you don't want to respond on the board, feel free to PM me!
I was a feb/mar/ap maternity leave momma but if you remember...we had snow until may this year so I was somewhat in your situation.
I did a lot of shop-walking...I went to a bunch of malls and just looked. I was in a rough situation because I couldn't drive for three weeks so that was torture but my DH and mom tried to bring me places any chance they could.
I also went downtown and walked the skyways. If you aren't down there often it's kind of fun to look around and see all the nifty shops.
ha, I am so lost....what does PM mean?
PM= private message....that way no one else gets to see your reply.
