Hi Ladies,My DH & I are starting to look at daycareplaces whether they're in-home or a facility.I'm still not sure if I am returning back towork after the 6-8 wks off or after 3-4 mos off. Any recs would be great.TIA
I am no help with this as I am going to be utilizing our onsite daycare at work, but I just wanted to pop in and see how Nessdog was feeling. Has your HG gotten better? Hope you are feeling better!
It's tough looking for a daycare for your unborn baby. I am 24 weeks pregnant and just went through the exercise of finding one. First I did my research...I looked online for any resources for daycares in my area. Then after phone interviewing them I set up some appointments so see which one's I would really take to. All were in home facilities but it really gave me a good feeling for what I was up for.
Once I picked my final 3-5 I did more research on each of them. I used the following sources to help me make a final decision.
Here is the info for the
Department of Social Services.
When calling different daycares each one should have a license #. Jot these
down and then look into the link below. There are different numbers to call
based on the zip code for the facility you are looking into. Once you?ve found
your zip code call the number and tell them that you would like a report based
on license #?s for facilities that you have been looking into. You will then
give the person the license #?s and they will give you a verbal report on each
one.

Hi!
I'm still suffering from HG not so much from the nausea, but from loss of appetite. So I'm still at home on medical leave. Thanks for asking

Crime Report Website
All you do is type in the address and it will list any crimes within the address and surrounding areas.

This is the one that shows you repeated sex offenders and where they live.

Looking into these sources, helped me gain peace of mind with my final decision.
Ultimately, I ended up going with the following for my daycare needs.

I know that this is a lot of info but it was helpful. Good Luck!
