1. 40w5d pregnant. Had some pretty painful contractions - or what I think were contractions - all day yesterday and into the evening getting to be about 6-7 min. apart. And then, at about 10 p.m., they stopped completely. Nothing. Nada. I don't know if I should laugh, scream, or cry.
2. Nothing stands out, really. I'm a little down overall because I thought I would have met my daughter by now.
ETA - I take this back! My weekend highlight was *definitely* Laura's news! OMG!
3. Susan Boyle. I'm sick of hearing that song. I'm glad she's not having a breakdown but am baffled by the media coverage of her performances.
CD6- overslept because I set my alarm clock wrong and so I screwed up my temping today. blah. Otherwise, I guess all is well.
Weekend Highlight: I'm in a ridiculous amount of pain because of it, but we scrubbed down our deck in order to stain/seal it and it looks AMAZING. love it.
News - I don't much watch the news. I read it online, but that means I don't have to read anything I don't want to, so I don't get sick of anything.
1. around 5 weeks pregnant? Second beta will be at 9 this morning (results by noon?) and I'm so worried about it. I'm not sure that I even really slept last night. I just started to get a really bad feeling about it.

2. We were in Chicago for the weekend and Saturday night around 10:30 (yes, we're lame) we were back in our hotel room checking out our view and we noticed an older guy lying in his hotel room across from ours about 3 floors down NAKED. Just lying in bed talking on the phone. It was like a bad car accident, we couldn't stop watching him. OMG I seriously almost pee'd my pants. It was so funny then after about an hour of us watching him he saw DH standing in the window eating his cup of ice cream laughing at him. The Naked Guy got up and disappeared for about 10 minutes. He came back and bent over right infront of the window and put on some clothes. HILARIOUS!

What--did I miss something? Did you do another round? OMG how exciting, I will be praying for you!
Edit: Ok I saw your post below Laura, congratulations to you! I think I would be in total shock! Congrats and sending lots of sticky dust your way..

2. Getting to visit THREE of my friends who delivered there babies this weekend.
3. Jon and Kate plus 8. Im sorry they are having problems, but seriously do we have to know EVERYTHING about it. I really think they should just walk away from the show and work on their marriage and family. I used to watch the show becuase the kids are cute, but lately the kids are rarely even on the show.

2. Weekend highlight? My sister's and I went to see "Wicked". It was awesome!!
3. What news story are you so sick of right now? I'm sick of the fact that they have to take every little thing with regard to Iran and run with it. It's an important news story but I think they're running away with the sensationalism and it's getting annoying.1. I'm almost 5 months pp. Something was bothering nicholas last night so i'm a bit tired this morning.
2. My parents were here through Saturday morning and I like watching them spend time with the little guy. We had a pretty good weekend all around.
3. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who feels disconnected from the news!

i don't watch much news either. and while i agree with jon & kate, i am totally sucked into that train wreck ::sigh:: i have no life!!!
1. Almost 9 m pp. Tired and sore? I'm not sure why but I have a massage @ 11!
2. Seeing my sis & BIL twice, seeing my dad on Father's day- it's been a while since that's happened, and Blaine's first Father's Day.
3. I try to stay away from the news it all makes me sick!

1. Where and how? 15 weeks post partum! Yikes! Feeling good, but really sick of all the hair loss. I am 11lbs from my pre-pregnancy weight. ::sigh:: I had hoped to be back to my pp weight (or below - I have another 5-8lbs on top of that) by August and I'm not sure it's going to happen.
2. Weekend highlight? I made Ina Garten chicken stock, and it is BEYOND delicious!
3. What news story are you so sick of right now? "cash for clunkers". I'm sick of programs to help people stimulate the economy in general. We need a contraction, and trying to artificially force people to spend is just delaying the inevitable.Joseph Henry was born at home on March 9, 2009

1) 2 months, 6 days PP. Feeling fine. I walked into a Brenda-screw-up this morning, so it's turning out to be one of those Mondays. Argh.
2) Going shopping with Paige to get Larry a Father's Day present!! She loves shopping!!
3) Definitely Jon and Kate. Seriously. Of course, I'm still going to watch their one-hour special tonight with their "big announcement." I'm sort of hoping that the announcement will be that they've purchased an island somewhere with no media where they will live quiet reclusive lives and we'll never see their faces again. :-)

2. My DH's 1st Father's Day. He's such an amazing daddy so it was nice to give him some extra love and attention yesterday
3. Def. Jon & Kate. I used to enjoy that show and watched it a lot when I was pregnant but now I don't want to watch it or even hear about it!!!!
1. Where and how? 33w6d and feeling really good after a relaxing weekend
2. Weekend highlight? Found out that I am a finalist for a job that I applied for--Top 5 out of over 350 applicants! 2nd phone interview is this afternoon and I am feeling really good about my chances.
3. What news story are you so sick of right now? I can't even bring myself to watch the news anymore. I skim MSNBC.com in the morning to see if there's anything huge that I should know abot but other than that, I don't pay attention.
1. CD7. Feel pretty good.
2. Spending Father's Day with DH & Haley. It was a great day.
3. J&K+8 So sick of it. Although - I'm not really sure they count as news.
1. 16w6d. I broke down and bought a snoogle this weekend and I think I am now sleeping longer stretches, I still get uncomfortable after awhile but much longer stretches before I have to change positions.
2. We ate really well, hee hee, on Friday we went to Meridian to celebrate our annivesary, Saturday night we went to Mama Carrolla's to celebrate my brothers b-day and Sunday we went to my parent's and my mom cooked a big meal. Also getting to hang out and spend time with my fun little niece. My parent's are getting mice in their house for some weird reason (usually a fall things not a summer) and they caught one yesterday. My niece (she's 2 1/2) talked about "mouse in your house" for at least a half hour and my mom was horrified that this was a story she was probably going to tell everyone. It was funny but you probably had to be there.
3. Jon & Kate + 8, but of course I watch the train wreck of a show. Maybe I'll stop after tonights "big announcement"?
1. 29w4d, feeling good other than my abs feeling beyond stretched and this weird pain I keep getting on one side that is apparently tendonitis.
2. doing nothing!!! We have been going non-stop for the last few weekends so it was nice to finally do nothing.
3. I don't really watch the news.

2. Weekend highlight? I lost my mucus plug this weekend...haha how is that for a gross weekend highlight? We also had a great time celebrating Father's Day.
3. What news story are you so sick of right now? I honestly try to only watch the weather...
When we stayed in Chicago a few years back and were looking out our hotel window, there was a guy across the street in an office building naked at his computer, obviously pleasuring himself! And we could see the cleaners walking around in other offices, next door, lol.
1. Where and how? I'm cramping but it's not AF. Who knows.
2. Weekend highlight? Camping this weekend with DH and the dogs!
3. What news story are you so sick of right now? I love reading about the J&K+8 stuff - it's horrible but I like reading about it. I hate the Susan Boyle stuff though, I'm over that story!Long time no see!!
?1. 17weeks 3 days. ?Feeling pretty good, though I feel aloveindy's pain about not sleeping well. I borrowed a snoogle from a friend, and will give it a shot soon.
2. ?Got the nursery painted!! My DH is a teacher, so he's wanting to get everything done this summer before going back to school. ?My parents came down and helped him. It looks so cute!

1). I *think* AF may have stopped after 5 weeks! I talked to a nurse at the OB/GYN and she didn't seem to worried but I will be making an appnt soon. THe only reason I haven't so far is financial which sucks and makes me wonder sometimes why we didn't move Jake to the UK.
2) Getting to spend some time with DH on Sat. We just spent a huge chunk of the day watching The Ultimate Fighter marathon on tv but normally when he is off we are running around doing things or he is out working on something, so time and cuddles together was really nice and needed. Yesterday we went to mil and had a cookout with granpa and sil/bil and nephews. We also took both dogs and they were well behaved with the boys and exhausted when we got home.
3) I don't really watch a lot of news, I tend to read the UK news online. And while I get annoyd with the J&K+8 stuff, at the same time I can't help but watch.
1. CD25. Feeling pretty good.
2. I had a great weekend! We celebrated DH's birthday and Father's Day with 2 cookouts, so that was fun! And Laura's news, obviously. I was just so excited for her all weekend long!
3. Jon and Kate plus 8 is the only thing I can think of right now...

2. Emma's "1st birthday" party was on Friday in Indiana with my family. That is in quotes since her birthday isn't until July 9.

2. Weekend highlight? Hm, not sure if one thing stands out - we had a fun weekend overall with game night, our niece's 3rd bday party, watching movies, and going to the mall and Cold Stone.

11m 2w and 3d pp. Feeling like crap today. AF showed up lastnight. It's going to be a long tiring week. I am trying to get ready for Gracie's party this weekend.
2. Weekend highlight?
Got to spend an amazing weekend with DH and Gracie. Things have been kinda rocky with Micah and I lately..mostly work stressing him out lately and bringing it home and taking it out on me. Anyways....we had a great weekend of relaxing and cooking out and it paid off.
3. What news story are you so sick of right now?
Jon and Kate plus 8......why oh why is every tabloid and news show on tv so fascinated in destroying their lives even more. We don't know the truth..I could careless right now. I still think they have an amazing family whether they stay together or not.

2. Weekend highlight? Probably hanging out with the family yesterday. It was a really, really, really busy and tiring day on Saturday so the rest yesterday offered was certainly wonderful.
3. What news story are you so sick of right now? John and Kate Gosselin. How about let them suffer in private while their marriage crumbles? Of course, they'd have to step out from in front of the camera for this to work...

3. I have not been able to watch the news in a while. I do know that everytime I go to yahoo's and msn's front page it always talks about Chers daughter's sex change.

2. Going to the Louisville Bats baseball game last night with new friends from church. A guy in my Sunday school class had 6 free tickets, so a bunch of us who didn't know each went. And afterward, since it was Father's Day, we got to go down and run the bases! So much fun!

1. 3rd week of BCP...still bleeding...boooo! Still feeling sick...although a big improvement from a few days ago...I think these antibiotics are starting to work.

1. Somewhere a little over 8 months pp and second day of pills (I started back on them after I lost my supply). Feeling fine, just nervous about the interview!
2. Laura's news and driving up to Bellingham to get some kick-ass ice cream. Seriously decadent.
3. The girl from Seattle who is in Italy and on trial for murdering her roommate. Because it's a local thing, we hear about it on the local news, too.
1. 28w today. OK...everything looks good with baby's kidneys - right one is great and no change with the left. MFM didn't want to see me again for 8 weeks. On the other hand....just found out that I have gestational diabetes. Bleh.
2. Getting home from vacation early afternoon on Saturday and having another day to rest and regroup!
3. Jon and Kate......I'll admit I watch the show, but if they have any hope of saving their marriage (or even want to), they need to quit the TV show and work on it.

Late to the game...
1. almost 3 months pp. So busy with starting residency. I miss Jocelyn so much during the day, but I know it's going to get a lot worse schedule-wise before it gets better.
2. OMG, had such an awesome, crazy weekend. Turned 30 on Thursday, started residency on Friday, 2nd row at the Phish show Friday night. Headed to Chicago on Saturday, photos at Wrigley Field and watched the end of the Cubs game, then sat on the lawn with Joss at the Phish show in Wisconsin. Brunch with friends back in Chicago on Father's Day, then to visit IL's back in Indy, then home! So exhausting but so much fun!
