Around 7-7.5 months, I noticed there were a few days where she slept longer in the morning, then didn't get a chance to take her next nap til later, so ended up with only two. She seemed happy (and her night sleep was already awful, so her nap schedule didn't seem to have any effect) so I just tried to make that happen most days. There wasn't much of a transition period.
The "formula" that works fairly well for us is 2+3+4... 2 hrs awake in the morning, nap, 3 hrs awake in the day, nap, 4 hrs awake in the evening until bed. Her naps are usually around 1.5 hrs, but she always wakes after 45 mins and I have to nurse her back to sleep.
I don't want to force it...DS has been fighting (royally fighting) his last (3rd) nap for the past few days...So, I was figuring he was trying to get rid of it. ?We're experimenting today. ?:) ?

Re: How long did it take to transition DC from 3 to 2 naps?
