I don't even think mine has non-skid pads on the bottom and we didn't attach it either. It works just fine!
Be careful, though. I think I've heard about people having the tops of their dressers ruined by changing pads. We just have a cheap IKEA dresser and haven't seen any damage from our pad yet. GL!
We attached the changing pad to the "dresser" we use. It's not really a dresser but a side table/tv stand. And haven't had any problems with it - but I have to admit, I can't remember the last time, if ever, we changed her diaper on it.

we attached ours to the back of the dresser with the little tab "anchors" that are on the pad. i can't imagine how guilty i would feel if it fell off b/c i didn't attach it.
and for the record - we use ours every time we change our LO. even 11.5mos later.

Yeah, I am a little concerned about it damaging the top. I am trying to brainstorm some ideas.

We fully intended to attach ours but never actually did it I always have a hand on her when she's on it though, I wouldn't turn away for a second even if it was attached. We use it all the time.

Hey Kimmie!! We attached it to the dresser AND I added non-skid (rug) pads to the bottom which worked the best. Ours even had the non-skid pads but did nothing! HTH!
