I'm a Mama of 2, about to lose my job, and hoping to start a parenting-focused business in Portland.

If you heard of a business called Parenthood Academy...

• What would you think it was?
• Who would you think it was for?
• Would you want to know more?

I would think it was a school/support system for new parents just starting out that don't know much about parenting.  I wouldn't really care to know more if that was the case, no.

I'd think it was a business for parents to teach them how to parent (both general skills and regarding specific topics). It seems like it would be for first time parents, specifically those without a lot of support around. I probably would have wanted to know more when I was pregnant, but now I think I'm busy enough and comfortable enough with parenting that I wouldn't seek more information. That may change when he's older
