Anybody tried "Baby Babble" DVDs?

Campbell was just diagnosed with a moderate language delay (in addition to her motor delays). When we met with the speech pathologist she asked if Campbell watched much TV.  We answered honestly that we really limit her TV time but occasionally we'll put on something so I can make dinner or do something like that.  She suggested the Baby Babble DVDs and said she likes them better than Baby Einstein.

They're about $30 for both DVDs.  Has anyone tried them?  Are they worth the money?

  • No experience with Baby Babble, but I'd also recommend the Signing Time videos - they're amazing!

  • I have one of the baby babble DVD's and my son loves it!!! At 16 months when I got them he really only had 2 or so words other than mama dada...he is now 19 months and learning new words and signs every day!!! Not sure if the video helped but he did learn to say "beep beep toot toot" as in for a car and train from that video.....I'd say get them =)
  • I just ordered it from Amazon yesterday. There are a ton of good reviews on Amazon
  • We have both 1 & 2 of babble babble - and they keep my little one's attention.  He may still be a little young for them, but I like to think it helps.  :)

I think I got them cheaper on amazon.com than 30 for both though if I remember right.
