Okay, here is my idea...

that I would like someone to take and run with it, cause I have no idea how to make it happen. Nor any experience the field to be in charge of it, even if I could get the ball rolling.

A Baby/Toddler/Preschooler radio station. I know there is Radio Disney, but that is aimed at the pre-teens/tweens age group.

The music is there in abundance.

The advertising revenue is there in abundance.

The parents without any knowledge of childrens music is there in abundance.

Specific ideas would be

5am-7am Parent talk hour with ideas/advice

11am-1pm "Quiet Time". Chill music for naps and down time.

3pm "Story Time" with the book mentioned the day before and leading up to the story time so you could follow along at home if you have the book.

7pm-5am Lullabye's

All other times, just fun, happy kids music.

Sundays you could do a James Dobson Family Focus hour if you wished.

There is also kid friendly activities/events around the area to talk about.

I would love to have this while in my car, etc.

Ooh... I love this idea! I would totally listen. I just shared with DH (since his BF is an on-air personality for NPR) and he liked it too... maybe he will pass it on
