in TTC After a Loss

I just have to pass along what DH just did to me this afternoon.  Already posted on MPL, so sorry for the repeat if check both.  So I a m feeling like a big frump lately, and trying to get ready for TTCAL.  DH and I have had a few fights after m/c, so things are far from perfect right now.

I go to get the mail.  Open a package, thinking it is the "surprise" that he was going to get me off of ebay, and guess what it is?

GIANT nudie calendar.

    oh shiit, that sucks!  i would be tempted to throw it away or hide it and tell him it didn't come in. 

    why are men such a pain in the ass?!!

    yeah i know what you mean.  i came home from work one day and sat on the bed, well i guess i sat on the remote control and it changed from TV to DVD and there was some skinny naked biotch bouncing up and down on some big blk guy. 

    really DH?

    Wow. What a pleasant "surprise". If I were you, rather than saying anything, I would put it up on the refridgerator for him to see right when he gets home. That way he'll know that he's in a bit of trouble.

    Where does your H work? I would find it highly inappropriate if any of my coworkers had porn at work!

    That said, it's just a calendar and he didn't shove it in your face or anything. I would try not to take such offense at it.

    at least it's porn and not pics of him with another woman or something horrible. I say let this one slide, maybe it's his little escape from reality right now. My H started working ridiculous hours after our m/c, and after I started to get upset about it, he told me it was because he just needed a little vacation from home, and now things are back to happily ever after.

    Thanks ladies.  I think I will probably let it slide this time, especially since he thinks he's in big trouble.  Then I will look like a really good spouse, right ;)?  Anyway, I think that he may not have really ordered it. 

    In response to a pp, he is a mechanic.  He swears that he's not allowed to have that stuff at his shop, but you know, stereotypes die hard.
