NMR: Prayers Please

I found out a few weeks ago that my teaching contract may not be renewed. (all teachers that have under 4 years of experience). We moved from MI to NC for this teaching job. I have taught 2 years in this county. 

We are just praying for direction. We are ok with going back to MI or staying here. We just want direction on what we should do and by not getting a contract we would know that we need to go back to MI.

Finding a job in MI will be pretty much impossible, unless any of you have great connections in the Kalamazoo area We would have to move in with my dad until we could get on our feet and I could find a job.

Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. We are really ok with either situation, we just want to know what God has planned for us.

I'm so sorry- do you work for CMS? I knew there was a lot of budget talk & talk of cutting teachers but I haven't really been keeping up with it. I hope that things go ok for you- I'm a believer in things working out for the best but it is stinks while you're going through all the unknowns. Good luck!

Whatever happens, stay positive that it will work out for you and your family   We are also in MI so if you do move back I'll keep my eye out for you!  I lived in Kzoo for a short time, but we live in the greater Lansing area now.

Sending you prayers!!!   It sounds like you have a wonderful attitutde.  I'm a teacher myself, and it's tough right now to get a job, and keep one if you don't have enough seniority.  I hope this trend turns around soon. Wishing you the best and hoping you find out soon!

I teach in Grand Blanc and was under the same stress just a few months ago.Thankfully, it was just a scare. I feel for you and will keep you in my thoughts and prayers!!
