Today's Pedi. appt. vs. Yesterday's
So, since everyone that read my post yesterday asked for an update,here goes! Today has been MUCH more trying than yesterday, even though the only good thing about today is that the sun is out and yesterday was pouring. Anyway, you will be happy to know that Sophie's regular Pedi. totally disagreed with the Developmental Pedi. as well! YEA FOR ME! he didn't know why the other guy asked for a hearing test, so instead he gave me the name of an ENT instead to call & ask if the hearing test was really necessary. He checked her out all over again today too. Her muscle tone in her legs, her reflexes, stood her up, sat her down, and said she is WAY more advanced than 6 months (DUH) and has no idea what the quack yesterday was talking about. After we left his office I took her over to the lab to get her blood drawn to check for side effects of the fluid medication she's on. An hour after we get home, the Pedi. calls me from hi home (not good) and tells me her b/w results are so off the charts that they are def. wrong, b/c they aren't even compatible with life! 
He knew they messed up the b/w sice they took the blood from her foot, and told me we have to take her back to the lab in the morning, and then go wait at the office for the results so they can check her over again and make sure nothing funky is going on as a result of the medicine. OH what a day! I have a headache and my lil angel is sleeping next to me. She was PISSED at the lab tech. I could not believe how fiesty she got and was giving her such a hard time. That's my day! And I know tomm. is not going to be any easier since the Dr. said they HAVE to find a vein and take the blood that way.
