Now, when I drop something (which seems to be getting more frequent) I have a mini debate in my head on how much I need the dropped item. I have taken bending over for granted all of these years!
My friend asked me if I was to this stage yet. She said there came a time in her pregnancy that if she dropped something, it would stay there until someone else picked it up.
I've gotten to the point where if I drop it, it stays there until I feel like getting it... hours later.
I was wrapping coins last week (pennies, actually), and kept dropping them on the floor. I had 4 extras after I stacked them all up and counted them, so I could drop 4 pennies before I needed to pick them up of the floor. Well, I ran out of those 4 and then dropped about 5 or 6 all at once. I was so frustrated that I threw what pennies were left in my hand on the floor and left them there until I was done counting all the change and wrapping it, too.
I'm totally there, but I can't leave anything lying around...my Yorkie takes anything I drop and runs off with it! I'd rather bend over (and grunt) than chase him through the house! If DH is around, though, he'll pick stuff up for me!
To an extent. I have started filling up the dog's water bowl with my watering can so that I don't have to bend over and pour his cup of food from pretty high (i just bend over a little). I figure he doesn't care if he's eating a few pieces off the floor. Is that bad?

Our beautiful daughter was born in October 2009. Turns out she was quite the miracle. After two years of TTC, diagnosed with DOR. A couple of failed treatment cycles later, we decided to let go of our hope for more biological children and explore adoption.
I'm at work and I was giving change back from lunch, and I droped a dollar infront of one of the sales guys who was just sitting there. I waited like a mila seccond he did not even try to pick it up and it was less then a inch from him. I bent over and got it and then he says is it hard for you to bend over. gee what gave you that funny idea. gerk
