How to find a Nanny

We live in Naperville, and are looking for a nanny for when I go back to work.  I have tried to search on line and so far I have found:  sittercity, nanny network and midwest nannies.  Also have looked on craigslist.

Has anyone used any of these agencies or have any other ways to find a nanny?  Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Re: How to find a Nanny

  • I am a nanny and I found my family through www.nannies4hire.com I thought it was nice. Each side has to fill out a survey and I'm pretty sure they do a background check on the nanny because it takes a few days for your profile to go up so they can check you out. There is also a good question sheet to ask potential nannies. Good Luck!

  • I found my nanny on care.com
  • We found our nanny using npnparents.org
  • I'm a nanny on both care.com and sittercity.com.  Both are great sites to find a sitter or post a profile as a sitter.
