Pain after Ultrasound??

Not sure if this is the cause of my current pain, but I'm not feeling comfortable after my ultrasound today.  It was quite long and doc was jiggling baby a bunch to get him to move positions.  

 Has anyone exerience mild cramping after their ultrasound?

My big u/s with DS included a LOT of jiggling and prodding b/c DS had his arms around his head. My stomach was sore for a few days and I literally had bruising on one side!

Yup. my uterus/belly area was sore. It felt better after about an hour. I told them (u/s techs) to do whatever they had to do short of jumping on my actual stomach to get to see the baby's sex and spine (possible spinal openings...). 

So even though baby was laying in the complete wrong position with her legs tightly crossed, through some pressue, they were able to get her to move.  Just a little uncomfortable for me later.

I did after my big US, doc told me that due to the fact that baby wasn't cooperating, and it took longer than normal...that it was a normal ache...HTH
