Learn to love Moby? Or different sling/wrap?

Anyone's LO hate the Moby at first and then learn to love it?  Or hate the Moby but love a different sling/wrap?

My DS seems to HATE hanging out in the Moby, although he certainly loves to be wrapped up and held close.  I want to be able to take a walk with him or just do some things in the house and tote him along hands-free, so considering getting a different style sling/wrap but I'm not sure if he'll like that either - - is it the Moby itself or the whole sling/wrap concept that gets him all peeved off??

Anyone had success with a Moby later on, or found that their LO hated one type of sling/wrap but loved another?

I'm afraid to spend money on the MOBY but I do have and have used the Bjorn, she seems to like it but I don't use it alot. SHe has fallen asleep in it too! gl w/ the Moby, he might learn to love it

I'm bigger, so the regular wraps/slings never seem to fit quite right. So we use the baby bjorn. DS LOVES it! I can keep him in it all day and he's happy as a clam. I even tried on pants with him in it yesterday. I'm a big fan.

DS would only go into the Moby when he was asleep until he was old enough to sit front-facing in it.

Learn to love - but try it again in 2 weeks.

It's wonderful once you and DS get the hang of it.  You have to keep at it for a bit to get the hang of it - go to the website & watch the videos - that helps too.

Never tried a Moby so can't be help there. But for DS we had a sling and he hated it and it got really heavy on my shoulders. I bought for DD a wrap from loveyduds.com, she also has an etsy site. I love it and so does DD. So much more comfy too.

I have a moby style wrap and the first few time I tried it I tried DS in it in the comma hold ( laying down like in a sling). He hated it! Then I decided to try the kangaroo hold (upright, feet in froggy position, facing in). He loved that. He almost always falls asleep when I have him in it. I think he likes hearing my heartbeat. Maybe experiment with different holds. Once you find one you both like it is easy to remeber how to do that one. Good luck.

Thanks!  Guess we'll keep trying it and see if he learns to love it.  I fogot we have a hand-me-down Bjorn so maybe we'll try that one and see if thats any better.  Thanks again!!
