I totally hear you, I was in a wedding a couple weeks back where my ex attended.  We dated for 6 years, from 15-21, and I  SO wanted to look good.  I am 31, have had 2 kids and weigh 40 pounds more then I did last time I saw him, which was pre babies, no where near what I was when we dated.  I felt very self conscious but in the end I had way more fun then he did...he was stuck sitting on a chair all night with his anti-social girlfriend while my husband and I danced up a storm and had fun : ) GL

I'm butting in to say that MOST men, who are older, don't like the skinnyb*tch look anyway.  Most are like my DH and like a little junk in the trunk.  Just sayin.

And like I said, my confession is no reflection of my marriage or wanting to be with my friend.  I love my husband and chose him.  I didn't want there to be any confusion about that.  This is my narcissistic side coming out, I guess.

I'm going to just suck it up and call my friend.  I'm sure we'll have a great time and I need to stop being ridiculous about this.
