Add my DH to the unemployed list

I haven't posted about this yet, but figured I would.  DH lost his job last week.  It's bitter sweet though.  He traveled M-Th, sometimes F and he as well as I hated it.  We didn't have a plan for when the baby arrives since he was going to have to take his vacation time and obviously couldn't start or come home until I went into labor, so now at least he'll be here for sure.  It is sucky timing but there's always a reason for everything.  Please send us any thoughts and prayers that he find another job soon.

I remember how incredibly upset I was when DH lost his job (I think I was 27-28 weeks pregnant).

He still hasn't found a job. A few interviews here and there, but no offers.

However, now that Paige is here and I'm back at work, DH is staying home with her and I can't imagine it any other way.

I know that she is getting the best care... at a great price!! :-)

I'm convinced now that this was just part of our plan. It feels like this is the right path for us right now.

I'm so sorry to here that. I'll just echo the pps in saying that it's great he'll get to be around more right now and when the baby gets here. I'm sure he'll find something (better!) soon.

Thanks girls.  It really is a blessing in disguise.  There were alot of negative things associated with the job he had.  The only good thing was the $$.  I'm confident he'll find something though, I just hope sooner rather than later and at least making the same $$ if not more.  Everything really does happen for a reason and I feel so much better with him being home now.
