Got a baby update email from a co-worker this morning and it totally shot my morning all to crap.  I know I should be happy for her and glad that she and the baby are still doing ok (she's having some minor complications), I'm just not.  The past week I haven't even been able to feel happy for  my friend.

I'm just angry and sad or indifferent to anything baby related lately. ugh.

I'm sorry Gidge!  I know exactly how you feel.  Hang in there.  At least it is Friday and you will have a two day break from all that.

Deep down I know you are happy about your friend and wish them well. Dealing with IF clouds that, though. I use the weather metaphor. The sun never goes away, but at times it is covered up by clouds and storms. The bad weather does eventually pass, but it can cause some havoc which it's there and you have to protect yourself from getting hurt. IF is a nasty shitstorm.
