I have it but I haven't loaded it into my computer yet.  I don't have 3 days of nothing in a row yet.  Which I find you need when starting a new Sims game!

Riley is a girl... I love the name Riley.. Dh says no.. but on the game I get to pick whatever floats my boat.

I also have it and I love it. It does take up a lot of time at first, but I like that it has goals set up now.

LOL, me too. ?I had one family started, and we also had 6 kids. ?I was trying to get a stupid girl, and the 6th was finally a girl. ?I have it set to the really long life span, so I had 6 infants at one time. ?They started turning into toddlers, and I couldn't take it anymore. ?I started a new family.?

ETA I should clarify that I don't think girls are stupid. ?I was just very frustrated that it kept giving me boys. ?The Sims should have ingender.com.?

I do not understand the appeal of Sims, but i'm not a video game player anyway. I think it was Sims 2, I was bored out of my mind after five minutes. Give me Scrabble and Trivial Pursuit and I'm a happy girl. *shrugs*

I got Sims 3 a few weeks ago when DH was out of town.  And you are right.  You need about 3 straight days of doing nothing in order to play.  lol  DH is going out of town again next week so when Em goes down for the night, I'll be playing my sims!
