DD's not quite 11 months.. I wouldn't say she looks 100% of the time, maybe more like 75%? I think it depends on what she's doing at the time.

No.  I'm pretty sure he knows his name, I just don't think he cares.

he recognizes it....until he conveniently forgets when he's about to do something bad (ie. tip the dog's dish) and i call him.

actually, i think he answers to "stinky" more often than he does to "ryan."  we have a problem....

She usually does but there are a lot of times she has something much better to do than to respond to me ; )

She chooses to ignore me about 40% of the time.

for the most part. if i say her name she will look at me 90% of the time. the only time she doesn't is when she too busy doing something else to pay attention to me

Like others said....he knows his name but doesn't always respond to it.  If he is really engrossed in something he will ignore it until he is ready to respond.
