CD detergent rave

I love Planet (liquid) detergent!  I bought it at Whole Foods, but I think you can get it online through some of the online CD shops.

No diaper rash, and no stink!  Evan's BG 3.0s used to stink horribly (strong ammonia smell), but we don't have that anymore.

    did you strip the bg's first?  just curious, i know Kat is having trouble w/ hers, also.

    I had done two rounds of my washing and drying routine...added a squirt of Dawn in the first round.  I also use the Calgon water softener with each load.

    Since then I've gone through 3 loads of CD laundry using Planet, and I still have no stink issues...so hopefully, this works  (keeping finger crossed).

    OMG this might be my answer!!

    Are you still using Calgon?  Do you wash everything in Planet or just the CDs?

    Glad to hear this.  They just started carrying this at our Kroger and I was looking for something to use for CDs since I'm afraid to use CC on them now.  Can you explain more about the Calgon?  Do you use it because you have hard water?
