Drowsy but awake

Do you have success with this? Anytime we lay DS down any kind of awake he screams and wants to be picked up..

I can do drowsy and dopey, but not dowsy but awake..

Anyone have any tips? TIA

    have the same trouble he cries for 5-10 minutes then puts his self out the last three days , for naps and bed time

    Yes, but not until K was 10-11 months old.  Before that she always went to sleep either cuddling with me or in her swing (at least until she was 8 months and outgrew it).
