I noticed a few weeks ago that I had a weird feeling down there when wiping. almost like the wiping felt good because it was relieving a pain, but also kind of itched. When washing in the shower it was also sort of itchy relief. however there was nothing else associated with it. No discharge or anything. Then AF came and it all went away. Now AF is gone and its coming back. I also notice part of my labia was a little firm.
The only thing I can come up with is possible dryness? Any thoughts on what this could be? Its nothing persistant and I only feel it when wiping or washing. I am going to put a call in if this persists another week or so but wanted your thoughts.
Re: LadyBits Question
Random, but do you wax?
Sometimes I get ingrowns and can't see them. It sounds like a similar pain.
Nope only shave.
And I am not sure about the YI. I thought before AF came that it was possibly a YI, but I have never had one before so I don't know how to identify it, but there isnt any discharge and its not constant itching.
Same here - I have never had this and I hope it goes away soon.
I have had a sensitive burning/itching sensation inside the vagina before AF and it goes away during AF, only to return after AF. After talking to my doc about it I found out I'm prone to UTIs (urinary tract infections) and now take cranberry pills when I start to feel one coming on. It has taken care of the whole problem.
I've never had those sensations on the outside, though.
I know - I asked the same thing! The doc said that the infection in the urine was irritating the skin inside the vagina after I would urinate. Apparently the sensation lasted afterward b/c the skin was irritated. In fact, when the UTI was particularly bad, it would last all day. UTIs are TERRIBLE - at least they are when I get them. I may have them worse than others though, b/c I am very prone to them.
I certainly hope it's not b/c they're just terrible for me and honestly, if you aren't having the other symptoms of UTIs then you're probably not experiencing one. For me, it's really obvious when I'm getting one.
Here's a list of symptoms:

(Edited to fix link)
Good to hear - I also wouldn't wish it on anyone, so I'm glad you aren't experiencing one.
Oh well - just one of those things I know about now and deal with.
