...Star...

I'm kinda churchy and only like the rain on rare occasions (when I haven't straightened my hair).

That's it, you're moving to Seattle! We could hang out and compliment each other and tell each other all of the things we like about other people.

Get packed!?

Re: ...Star...

  • I'd like to join in on this as well.  I prefer lifting people up and making them feel good about themselves, too.

You can TOTALLY join us. You could be our hot friend! (Star might be hot too, but I don't think I've seen her)?

  • there's not enough room in my van to fit all these people!
  • LOL

If you mean hot like sweaty like a pig, then yes!  I'll be your hot friend! ;)

Star is hot!  She lives right by me, as a matter of fact.  We've yet to meet in person, though.

  • Sounds great!

The pastor of the church we went to in Dallas is from Seattle too. Haha.

Have you heard of Mars Hill up there?

    Link if you're interested.

Yes. I have nothing against Mars Hill, I just don't go there. I've been a few times. It's just such a monstrous church. There are 11ty billion locations and there's not always a pastor at your location, they do it via television. The few times I went, I felt lost in a crowd of tons of people. Nobody came up to me and talked to me, nobody acknowledged me or anything. It made me realize I like the smaller churches.

That said, the pastors there are AMAZING, dynamic people, and their sermons are great.

  • On the topic of church, I feel the same way about large churches vs. small churches.  I grew up in a very small church - maybe 50 - 100 ppl. there on Sundays.  Since we moved, the church I attend has probably closer to 5k people, maybe more.  I feel so out of place there.  Now I'm driving an hour on Sunday to go to my old church and spend the day w/ my mom.  I'm happiest that way.
