another update from doc

So my real doctor called me just now and was so cute on the phone (I met with another doctor from the practice this morning). First thing she said was, "HI! Your cervix looks GREAT!" Hehe! I said "thank you," as if someone was complimenting me on my hair cut.

She is evidently super happy with my dilation and effacement, and said that so many of her first-timers are still closed or fingertip at this point. I have a very favorable cervix for inducement, even though we're still hoping to avoid that.

I do have an endpoint, though - Monday, June 29 at 4:00 a.m. (!!!) I'll go in to be induced if I don't go into labor before then. She's very hopeful I'll go on my own though. So, at the most, 11 more days until I meet Ella! That sounds like a long way, huh? Or not...

Yay for a good lookin' cervix. LOL!

And OMG 11 days?! That's going to flllly by. Well, maybe not for you though....take advantage of it being the last few days of just you and Brian.

omg Lauren - your doc is freaking fabulous!

And with every bit of dilation, your bishop score gets more favorable, so yay yay yay.

But I have a huge feeling with eleven days, you'll go into labor on your own

I know, I love her! I was so so so disappointed yesterday when she wasn't available.

And, confession - I had to google "bishop score". I had no idea! Super good information that makes me a TON more comfy with induction. Thanks!
