NGPR: Work meeting with boss

So my big wig boss (3 steps above me) scheduled a meeting with me tomorrow just to have a 'chat'.  Let me tell you, she doesn't normally do this.  Recently I was hearing of complaints from my boss that my coworkers were complaining about me and my attitude.  Yes, I don't have the best attitude in the world, but it isn't that bad.  (i should preface this by saying that all but my direct boss don't like me very much because I have strong personality and won't cave into everything they want. )  I feel like since my boss talked with me that I have been so good.  Being helpful to all the new people, staying out of other people's business, not talking about people, and having a good attitude in general.  I am super scared about this meeting. I have no idea what it could be about, but I am scared it is some disciplinary action toward me.  (btw...only my direct boss knows I am expecting...guess I will have to tell the big wig tomorrow).

I'm just so nervous and can't get these thoughts out of my head.

Take a deep breath, you don't know why they may need to talk to you.  Try to do things that will relax you after work and just try to be calm.

Well - I stand by the motto that you shouldn't worry until they give you something to worry about! It could be a really great meeting - maybe they want to congratulate you on the baby (perhaps your direct boss said something without you knowing and they want to discuss options with you?), or maybe they want to give you a promotion?
