Babies: 9 - 12 Months

Please recommend your exersaucer or jumperoo

Do I need both of these or will one be enough? I feel like the exersaucer, jumperoo, and walker are all very similar and I just don't have the room for more than one.

Please recommend yours. What do you like about it? Does it bounce if it's an exersaucer? Anything LO doesn't like about it?

TIA!

Re: Please recommend your exersaucer or jumperoo

  • We have the FP rainforest jumperoo. DS LOVED it (now that he's crawling and cruising he hates it - but there were about3 months of bliss with it!)

  • FP rainforest jumparoo.  worth its weight in gold.  for real.

it's an exersaucer on bungee cords, so if DC feels like jumping he can, but if he just wants to spin around in the seat and play with the different toys a la exersaucer, he can do that too!

  • We have both.  We have the Exersaucer 3-in-1 Triple Fun at our house and the FP Precious Planet Jumperoo at my parents' house.  DD loves both!  It just depends on her mood.  She goes nuts on the jumperoo, but sometimes she just wants to bounce in her exersaucer and play with toys.

I notice that she enjoys playing with the toys on the exersaucer more than the ones on the jumperoo, but I think it's because when she's in the jumperoo, she is constantly jumping and doesn't have "time" for the toys.  haha

  • We have the evenflo exersaucer https://www.evenflo.com/product.aspx?id=185&pfid=90  DS LOVES it! He would stay in it all day if I let him. It's easy to move around and it folds up for easier storage. We often take ours outside when we're working in the yard and DS will entertain himself. I highly recommend it.

We also have the FP jumperoo but he's not crazy about it. He just sort of sits in it and waits for us to bounce him around. We'll have to completely take it apart when he's done with it in order to store it.

  • DS has an exersaucer and jumperoo. The jumperoo is FP Rainforest. He looooved the jumperoo. My mom keeps him twice a week and always wants me to bring it to her house because he likes it so much more than the exersaucer (which is at her house).

I bought him the jumperoo when he was 4 months. He didn't figure out how to jump in it until 5 months. And he is still loving it!

  • I have the evenflo triple fun exersaucer( converts from play mat to exersaucer to play table). DS had a jumperoo at daycare and he tries to use the exersaucer as a jumperoo which prompted me to wonder if we should get a jumperoo as also. well now he is crawling and hte exersaucer just kind of sits there now so am glad that it is the only thing I bought.

  • We have an Exersaucer in the payroom (I can't remember the brand, but it is your basic one with the toys, nothing too fancy) and the Bright Starts pretty in pink jumperoo in the living room. I definitely don't think you need both if you don't have room. We use the jumperoo more and she does like it a lot but only for short periods now that she is crawling. I don't think walkers are recommended these days? So I would suggest passing on that.

  • We have the BE jumperoo...we got it because DS loved the Johnny Jumper for the door and would try to bounce in the exersaucer we borrowed from a friend because the seat is the same as the jumper. He loved the jumperoo. I like the Einstein one becaise I can switch out the toys and connect other things using rings so he doesn't really ever get bored with it.
