It finally happened!!!!!! The 3am nursing never really bothered me... and I felt she would drop it on her own when she was ready. (So I wasn't ready to "sleep-train" it away.) Well this week, she pushed it to 4am, then 5 am, then 6am, and then this morning she didn't wake until 7am!!!!!! WOOP! (Went down at 7:30)

I will say, however, that I was going in at her first peep.... this week I let her babble a bit and everytime she put herself back to sleep. I also had the monitor volume really, really low. However, I can say for certain she never wailed....

Oh happy day!!! I hope she keeps this up...

Yay Elise!!!  I'm sad to say that James has picked back up to waking at 2:30am and feeding at 4:30am.

YAY!!!!! ?Yup, I really think the key is not swooping in unless there is actual crying. ?Hooray for extra sleep.

Not waking for that extra nighttime feeding has made a HUGE difference for me.  I know I wasn't losing a lot of sleep...but it feels like I get an extra hour or two when Bella doesn't wake up. 

I also have refrained from going in at every peep...she grunts and moans quite a bit and I drove myself crazy the first month or so...I had to let it go though b/c I wasn't getting a WINK!

 

Hope it keeps up.  I'm still dreading that whole 4 month wakeful thing that is quickly approaching and hoping that Bella doesn't expeireince it!
