I saw a kid kicking a pigeon today

We were at our local playground and Sasha was on the swings. I look around and see a maybe 2 or 3-year old boy walking after a pigeon (slowly as to not scare it) and kicking it! Granted the pigeon wasn't smart enough to fly away after a few kicks, but WTH! And his dad was sitting on a nearby bench watching him!

I called the police once on a bunch of kids throwing big rocks at the geese in the park. I think that is terrible.

I was absolutely astounded by that father! Just sitting there, watching that his kid doesn't run off too far.. umm hello, dude, your kid is kicking a bird!! I really wanted to say something, but didn't.
