I am now in the dumps... :(

So as of 4:45 this afternoon I do not have a job to go back to in July. I was expecting it with all the crap going on at my work while I've been off, but I'm still pretty choked as I have been there for almost 6 years and being laid off is still a kick in the junk no matter what.

Man, I hate reading posts like this!  I'm so so sorry that you lost your job.  In your area, what is the job market like?

It's a really tough market right now in Calgary where there are a lot of jobs, but few an far between for ones that actually pay enough to get by.

And yes having my wiggle worm here is helping a bit because even on this crappy day she makes me smile

Wow thats hard... and a bit of what I fear too.

Dh was laid off, but it worked out for us. We are moving!
