Left for my doctor's appointment, and then got a call that she was stuck in surgery. She wanted me to reschedule for tomorrow, with a different doctor. So much for discussing our plan and next steps. I won't be able to get in to see her until next week.

The receptionist/scheduler person is calling me back to see if she can squeeze me in Friday, but I don't want to be an afterthought and feel rushed.

Hmmmph. And I was hoping today's internal would magically stimulate labor.

When I read the title of this, I thought you were going to tell us that you had a big poop.  I know we share a lot of info around here, but that was just going to be a bit too far for my tastes.  Yet I opened the post anyway...

Boo. I would think your OB would make exception to see you since you're due TODAY. I would totally try to get squeezed in on Friday. I would have been lost without my OB... the other doc's were ok, but they weren't my OB.

That stinks. 

My doctor would have been the same way though - because she told me eleventy billion times that she wouldn't discuss any other options until 41w.  So she would have said a due date appointment was no biggie.  I had a breakdown after my due date appointment.  In the middle of Marsh.
