Babies: 9 - 12 Months

How many strollers do you have (and why)?

It's the second day in a row that we left the "good" stroller (the non-huge-travel-system one) in DH's car, and I'm thinking it's time to buy another stroller so this doesn't happen again. Then I thought, hey, stupid, maybe it's NORMAL to have two or three strollers, so I thought I'd better ask! Do you gals have several? Like, a nice one and then a cheapo umbrella stroller or something?

Re: How many strollers do you have (and why)?

  • Just one. My mom is sending me an umbrella stroller next week though.

Then I'll have to get a third one (and get rid of the two I'll have) when #2 shows up, unless I'm going to stack my kids on top of each other. ;) BABY PILE!

  • We have two strollers - one that went with the car seat and a jogging stroller (a Croozer).  The jogging stroller is too big to use when shopping or anything, but the other stroller doesn't work to jog with.  So that's why we have two.  I'm thinking of getting a little umbrella stroller so I have room in my trunk again.
  • We have 2 a travel system and umbrella. We got the umbrella for a more light weight and easy to bring stroller. Vacations and such.

  • Right now we have 2: the travel system one (which we've used A LOT!) and a snap n go. That has been more than enough. However, we are now at the point where I think we need more of an umbrella stroller, to replace the snap n go, since DS won't be in his car seat much longer.

We have 4 Strollers! I know im a stroller Whoreee! haha. I have the Graco travel system one that we used with his infant seat, which i still love the stroller but it is bulky, we have a Jeep jogging stroller for walks/jogs and tough terrain... the we have a cheap babytrend small one i got at a yardsale which i HATE, then i also bought a bumbleride one on ebay which i havent used much bc honestly i hate how it doesnt fold or condense well....

  • I have three. The one that went with the travel system, a jogger and an umbrella. If I didn't run, I would not have gotten a jogger.

  • We have two, the bigger fancier stroller that we will use if we are going shopping or some other trip where he will be in it for longer periods of time. We also have a cheap umbrella stroller that I keep in my car just in case.

DD #1 passed away in January 2011 at 14 days old due to congenital heart disease
DD#2 lost in January 2012 at 23 weeks due to anhydramnios caused by a placental abruption
  • I have a snap n go for the carseat and a lightweight one.  We are using the SNG less and less and using the umbrella one more and more.  I don't really see the need for a big stroller.  I just need something for neighborhood walks and the mall.

  • I just moved from three to two. I sold the travel system to a coworker so now I have a BOB Revolution and a Wendy Belissimo umbrella.
  • we have one (well had the SNG, but he stopped using the infant carseat at 4 months).

It is a Peg Aria OH.  Lightweight, full sized stroller.  Love it.  But I have the same issue as you.  So I was thinking of getting an umbrella stroller too.

  • 3! I have a britax vigour that i also used as a snap and go with the infant seat, a kate spade maclaren quest, and I have a bumbleride indie that i LOVE! I halso had a kolcraft, but i sold it to help offset the cost of the indie.?

  • I had a Double Snap n Go (sold once the girls outgrew), Bumbleride, Esprit Sunspeed Duo (sold b/c it sucked), Peg Perego Duette (sold b/c it didn't fit in my car), Phil & Ted's Vibe, and Jeep umbrella (for my mom to use)
  • Four.  A Bugaboo Cameleon is my main stroller.  I have a Maclaren Quest for travel and when I need a stroller that can fold up easily.  I have two travel strollers, one for when DS was an infant (Snap N Go) and one now (Sit N Stroll).  We don't have a car and fly with him about once a month so we need alot of travel gear.
  • I'm horrible. I have my travelsystem stroller then we got a stroller fro MH car and then I got a lt weight stroller but I am selling that on craigs list and I have a  cheapo unbrella freeibe stroller, but MH wants to get a joggin sroller hence why I am selling a stroller and then once we have #2 we are going to need a sit and stand stroller but I am going to sell 2 other strollers when that comes around.

  • We have 3:

Umbrella stroller ($20) for travel in airport, quick things

Travel System Chicco Stroller- for waks with mom, outings where he may lay down and take a nap in the stroller

Jogging Stroller- for runs with Daddy- this one is new for Father's day

  • We have 3.  A jogger, a nicer full sized stroller, and an umbrella stroller.  I've found times when each is wonderful to have.  I don't really use the jogger - it's more for DH.  I love the umbrella stroller for quick errands and where the full size doesn't fit nicely (post office, doctor's office)

  • Initially we had a jogging stroller and a stroller frame... once we stopped using the frame, we got a Maclaren to use when we wanted a more lightweight stroller (the mall, etc).  We use the jogger when we're going on long walks or going downtown.  I love having two.

  • two.

the snap and go, which we don't use much anymore and a combi wasabi, a lightweight 'big girl stroller'.

I don't jog and don't have tons of disposible income so we only have what we need.

  • 2.  An umbrella stroller for simple walking trips/car and train travel, and a jogger for me to exercise with.

We never did an infant seat, b/c I didn't want to carry it around.  I always carried DD from her convertible carseat in a Baby Bjorn which I felt was easier.  Hence, no snap and go etc. stroller.

  • I actually have three.  One was a hand me down (the McClaren) and then I got the Peg Perego Pliko and the Graco Snap and Go.  I haven't used the McClaren yet, but I use both of the other strollers.

  • We have 2. I started out with just a Maclaren Quest, but we needed something beefier b/c the walking trails in our neighborhood are really bumpy.  I bought a Baby Trend Expedition at Target that gets used about 2/3 of the time.  I only really use the Maclaren at the mall.

  • 2- the Skate and a cheap Combi that's really light and folds downs so small you can sling it over your shoulder.

  • Just one and it goes with out Graco travel system. I thought we would get a light umbrella stroller but actually the one we have is easy enough and I like the storage space. I also thought I'd get a jogging stroller since I'm a runner but you know what? I love leaving her with DH while I run to have some "me" time and it's to hot down south for her to be out that long anyway. She overheats easily.
